Step by Step
Note: Complete each Action in the order shown below:
Action A: Using Helpware FAR to remove your MSHelp2 Collection namespace from the MSVSIPCC.v80 parent namespace
- Close Visual Studio.
- Open Helpware FAR HTML.
- Click on the H2 Utils icon in the Authoring dialog box.
- Click on the Namespaces tab.
- Scroll down to the MSVSIPCC.v80 namespace and double-click on it.
- The Register - MSVSIPCC.v80 dialog box opens.
- Click on the Plug-ins tab.
- Locate the namespace of your MSHelp2 application and click it to highlight it.
- Click on the Remove button.
- This will remove your MSHelp2 application child namespace from the MSVSIPCC.v80 parent namespace.
- Click on the Close button.
- Close Helpware FAR HTML.
Action B: Using Add or Remove Programs to remove your MSHelp2 application
- Keep Visual Studio closed.
- Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
- When the Add or Remove Programs dialog box opens, scroll down to your MSHelp2 application and click on it.
- Click the Remove button.
- Be patient while the uninstall process occurs.
- When the uninstall has completed, close the Add or Remove Programs dialog box.
- Open Visual Studio and check to make sure your MSHelp2 application has been removed from the Help Contents tree.
